Keep Insects Out
Various Mesh Options
Fibreglass Mesh
Is the most commonly used mesh to keep out bugs and insects. It is a resilient, long lasting mesh that will not crease, dent or unravel.
Paw-proof Mesh
Paw Proof Mesh is made from a flexible fibreglass mesh that gives slightly. It lasts longer and is much stronger than standard fibreglass mesh. It will not rust or corrode and is ideal for high traffic areas with pets and children etc.
Aluminium Mesh
Aluminium mesh is a heavy duty alternative to fibreglass mesh. It is strong durable and withstands all climates and environmental conditions.
Midgee Mesh
Midgee Mesh is a finer fibreglass mesh with more strands than standard fibreglass mesh. It is used to protect against tiny insects such as sandflies or midgees that are common in wet-land areas.

FAQ
Do fly screen windows block natural light?
Fly screen windows are designed to let natural light into the home while helping keep insects outside. The mesh may soften or slightly filter the amount of light entering a room, but it does not block it completely. In most homes, fly screen windows still allow a bright, open feel throughout the day.
Do fly screen windows help with cross-ventilation in a home?
Fly screen windows can help support cross-ventilation by allowing windows to stay open while helping keep insects outside. When used across different sides of a home, they encourage air to move more freely through interior spaces. This can make rooms feel fresher and more comfortable, especially during warmer weather.
How do you clean fly screen windows properly?
Fly screen windows are usually cleaned with a soft brush or cloth, mild detergent and clean water to remove dust, dirt and built-up grime. Gentle cleaning helps protect the mesh and frame from unnecessary wear. It is also helpful to check for tears, loose fittings or bent sections during routine maintenance.
